CPU Support
Mac-On-Linux currently supports the PowerPC 603, 604, G3 and G4 processors. There is currently no support for the G5 (PPC970) or other 64 bit PowerPC processors such as the Cell Processor found in the PS3. There is no support for the 601. Other PowerPC processors may work, but are completely untested.
Mac-On-Linux allows the use of Altivec by the Guest OS if the Host CPU supports it.
For some benchmarks, please see: http://mac-on-linux.sourceforge.net/benches
